Technology is a core part ofubank, and the Technology Legal team at NAB is looking for a skilled Senior Legal Counsel to focus onubankwork and become part of both the Technology Legal andubankteams.
n
You will give useful, business-focused, and strategic advice on legal issues that affectUbank's procurement, technology strategy and implementation,
as well as working on making NAB andubanksystems and processes more agile,innovativeand able to deliver market-leading experiences to customers.

Lead negotiation of technology and commercial agreements, including major cloud agreements
n
Providingstrategic legal advice in relation to interpretation of contracts and disputes.
n
Support simplification and process improvement initiatives inubankand inlegal, including AI andouroffshore workforce.
n
We are looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers.You'llneed:n
n
Admission to practice law in Australia, with a minimum of5years PQE achieved at a law firm, relevant in-houseroleor some combination thereof
n
Ability to form strong relationships with, and become an integral part of, theubankteam, and the Technology Legal team
n
Proven experienceprovidingstrategic legal advice in relation to technology legal issues, prudential standards, interpretation of contracts and disputes
n
Effective communication skills to engage and influence across all levels and a variety of technical and business stakeholders
n
Ability tooperatewith a high degree of autonomy and independently manage workload,negotiationsand drafting
n
Excellent organisational skills, including prioritisation and time management.
n
