About the Role
n
A rare opportunity for an Interventional Cardiologist to help establish and grow a new Interventional Cardiology service within a major regional referral centre. You will provide General and Interventional Cardiology services across the Coronary Care Unit, Cardiology Ward, outpatient clinics, and a newly completed Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory. The role also involves clinical leadership, service development, teaching, and quality improvement.

Requirements

Specialist registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Cardiologist in Australia.
n
Contemporary Interventional Cardiology experience, including PCI practice.
n
Strong General Cardiology skills.
n
Experience in clinical leadership, governance, and service development.
n
Commitment to teaching and multidisciplinary teamwork.
n
International candidates can be considered, subject to registration and eligibility requirements.

Professional Development Allowance of $22,145 p.a.
n
Professional Development Leave (3.6 weeks p.a.).

Motor vehicle, overtime, recall, and on-call allowances as applicable.
