n We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established food manufacturing business operating a modern, highly automated production facility in South East Queensland.
n This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that continues to invest in its people, equipment and site infrastructure. You'll play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
n About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Electrical fault finding and breakdown response across production and packaging equipment
n
PLC fault finding and diagnostics across automated manufacturing lines
n
Preventative and predictive maintenance activities
n
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
n
Troubleshooting motors, drives, sensors, VSDs, instrumentation and control systems
n
Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations and project work
n
Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with site standards
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current QLD Electrical Licence (Grade Electrical Licence)
n
Experience working as a Maintenance Electrician within a food manufacturing, FMCG or processing environment
n
Strong PLC fault-finding capability
n
Experience with automated production and packaging equipment
n
Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, conveyors and industrial control systems
n
A proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement
n
Robust commitment to safety and quality standards
n
Full Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available for this position)
