About the role
The Senior Programs Officer will develop, coordinate and support the delivery of ACMD's programs and activities across pipeline development, stakeholder engagement, governance, events and reporting. This role acts as a central point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders and requires a high level of organisation, initiative, attention to detail and professional communication.
What you'll do
Develop and coordinate end-to-end delivery of ACMD program activities, including planning, scheduling, documentation, follow-up and reporting.
Support program intake, project review, governance processes and pipeline progression.
Prepare agendas, minutes,
papers, action logs and supporting materials for meetings and advisory groups.
Maintain program plans, registers, timelines, action trackers and operational documentation.
Coordinate workshops, seminars, mentoring activities, pitch events, panels and networking opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with researchers, project teams, mentors, partners, advisors and other stakeholders.
Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies and actions, escalating issues where required.
Support stakeholder communications, impact reporting, case studies and continuous improvement of program systems and processes.
About you
You are a capable and collaborative manager with strong program, project or stakeholder engagement experience. You are comfortable working across complex stakeholder environments and can manage priorities, meet deadlines and produce high-quality documentation. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgement and a genuine interest in health innovation, medical research, MedTech, digital health or translational research.
Skills and experience
Tertiary qualification in science, health, engineering, business, innovation, program management, project management or a related field.
Experience coordinating programs,
projects, events, research translation activities, innovation initiatives or stakeholder engagement activities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of reports, minutes, papers, briefings and stakeholder communications.
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
Experience supporting committees, advisory groups, governance forums or multi-stakeholder meetings.
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with researchers, clinicians, industry contacts, partners and internal teams.
Experience in a scientific, MedTech, health innovation, commercialisation or translational research environment is desirable.
Experience with ISO ***** or quality management systems is desirable.
Contribute to programs that support the translation of innovative health and medical technologies.
