to lead our People & Culture function and help shape the future of our organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys both strategic leadership and operational delivery. You'll work closely with our Executive Leadership Team to build workforce capability, drive organisational culture, support our leaders, and ensure best practice people management across our diverse organisation.

, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation delivering vital primary health care services across remote communities.
About the Role
As our current People & Culture Manager prepares for an interstate relocation in October, we're looking for an experienced HR leader to build on the strong foundations already in place and help shape the future of our workforce and culture.
Reporting to the Executive Manager Corporate Services, you will lead our People & Culture team and partner with the Executive Leadership Team to deliver both strategic and operational people initiatives. You'll oversee the full employee lifecycle, provide trusted advice to leaders, and play a key role in strengthening organisational capability, culture and compliance across Sunrise.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the People & Culture team and driving a high-performing, customer-focused service.
Providing strategic and operational HR advice to Executive and managers.
Managing employee and industrial relations, investigations, performance management and workplace matters.
Leading workforce planning, recruitment and retention initiatives.
Supporting Enterprise Agreement implementation and industrial compliance.
Overseeing HR systems, reporting, governance and continuous improvement projects.




Developing People & Culture strategies, policies and organisational capability initiatives.
Partnering with leaders to foster a positive, safe and values-driven workplace culture.
About You
You are a confident HR leader who enjoys building relationships, coaching leaders and solving complex people challenges.
You will bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline is desirable
Demonstrated experience in a senior Human Resources or People & Culture leadership role.
Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Experience managing employee relations, investigations and performance matters.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams.
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience using HRIS platforms and workforce reporting.
Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer service.
