About the Role
n
As Head Chef, you'll lead all kitchen operations and play a key role in maintaining the venue's reputation for quality food and service.
n Key responsibilities include:
n

Leading, mentoring, and developing the kitchen team
n
Managing daily kitchen operations and service periods
n
Menu planning and seasonal menu development
n
Food cost control, stock management, and ordering
n




Ensuring food safety and compliance standards are maintained
n
Driving consistency, quality, and presentation across all offerings
n
Recruiting and training kitchen staff as required
n
n
Your Skills and Experience:
n
n
Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
n
Experience working in busy pubs, bistros, hotels, or high-volume venues
n
Strong leadership and team development skills
n
Solid understanding of rostering, food costing, and stock control
n
Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities
n
Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
n
A passion for quality food and delivering great customer experiences
n
