About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Speech Pathologist to join a supportive team working with children and adults with disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate looking to begin their professional career, develop practical clinical experience and make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct speech, language and communication assessments.
n
Develop individualised therapy and intervention plans.
n
Deliver evidence-based therapy to children and adults with disabilities.
n
Support clients with communication, speech, language and swallowing needs where appropriate.
n
Work collaboratively with families, carers and other allied health professionals.
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports and progress notes.
n
Support clients in achieving their communication and participation goals.
n

About You
n
To be considered, you will have:
n
n
A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
n
Eligibility for relevant professional recognition/membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
n
A genuine interest in working with children and adults with disabilities.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
A client-centred, compassionate and professional approach.
n
Ability to meet relevant screening requirements for working with children and people with disabilities.
n
n
Previous disability or NDIS experience is highly regarded but not essential for current graduates.
n
