The Opportunityn
We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Superintendent
to join a major utility-scale solar project. This is a site-based leadership role overseeing electrical construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities across the project.
n
You will lead electrical crews and subcontractors while working closely with the wider construction and project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilitiesn
n
Lead and supervise electrical crews, subcontractors and service providers.
n
Coordinate installation across
DC/AC systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, cabling, earthing, SCADA and communications
.
n
Manage daily and weekly electrical construction activities and resources.
n
Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, ITPs, permits and Australian standards.
n
Monitor programme progress, identify risks and drive corrective actions.
n
Review drawings and technical documentation and manage RFIs/design queries.
n
Oversee inspections, testing, NCRs and handover documentation.
n




Support
pre-commissioning, testing, energisation and commissioning
.
n
Maintain strong safety, quality and environmental standards.
n
Mentor supervisors, electricians and site personnel.
n
About Youn
n
5–10 years' experience in electrical construction or project delivery.
n
Experience on
utility-scale solar, renewable energy, utilities, industrial or major infrastructure projects
.
n
Proven experience supervising electrical crews and subcontractors.
n
Solid knowledge of
solar electrical systems, MV systems, transformers and substations
.
n
Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, schematics and technical drawings.
n
Experience with testing, commissioning and energisation highly regarded.
n
Relevant electrical, engineering or technical qualification.
n
Strong leadership, planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
n
