Looking for your next Mental Health locum? This is a highly recommended contract with an amazing, supportive team and would suit an experienced clinician looking to step into a key Duty Clinician position.
n
The Role
n
Working as the Duty Clinician within the Local Mental Health Service, you'll provide responsive mental health assessment and support to adults presenting with a range of mental health needs.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Completing comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
n
Conducting Mental State Examinations (MSE)
n
Providing psychoeducation to consumers and their families/carers
n
Supporting clinical decision-making, triage and appropriate care pathways
n




Working collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary mental health team
n
Managing presentations involving varying levels of complexity and risk
n
n
Who We're Looking For
n
n
Social Workers
n
Occupational Therapists
n
n
You will need:
n
n
Minimum 3+ years' experience working within Mental Health
n
Robust experience completing risk assessments and MSEs
n
Confidence working autonomously within a Duty Clinician capacity
n
Relevant professional registration/eligibility for your discipline
n
n
