What we are looking for?
It this role it is essential that you hold a current positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and relevant experience
You will also have:
Be an experienced brass tutor and music educator.
Demonstrate strong musicianship, including music literacy and the ability to adapt or arrange music where required.
Have experience in leading and directing bands and ensembles
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Work collaboratively and positively within a team environment.
Be reliable, professional and punctual.
Be passionate about developing students' confidence, skills and enjoyment of music.
Share a commitment to supporting and expanding a thriving performing arts culture within the College.
Conduct ensembles for College performances and events.
Collaborate with the Creative Arts Coordinator regarding performance planning.
Proven ability to work in a cooperative, flexible and professional manner with children, parents and other team members
Satisfactory level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for education.
Current First Aid and CPR.
