Brief Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Senior Payroll Officer to join our Payroll team based in our Fremantle office. As part of a close-knit and supportive team, you will play a key role in the end-to-end processing of payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies.
This role requires a proactive professional with strong payroll knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering a high standard of service to employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Processing end-to-end payroll across weekly and monthly pay cycles
Interpret and apply relevant Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, employment contracts, and legislative requirements
Process and reconcile payroll-related statutory obligations, including superannuation, PAYG withholding, payroll tax and single touch payroll
Resolve payroll enquiries from employees, managers, and key stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate,
and customer-focused support
Prepare, reconcile, and analyse weekly, monthly, and annual payroll reports for internal stakeholders, external agencies, and audit purposes
Manage employee lifecycle transactions and reconciliations, including terminations, leave entitlements, workers compensation payments and back pay calculations
About You
Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
Previous experience with UKG, highly desirable
Extensive experience interpreting and applying Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and payroll-related legislation
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving abilities
