The Opportunity
Join a highly regarded global pharmaceutical company as it expands its specialist hospital team ahead of an exciting new product launch.
Working within a highly specialised rare disease portfolio, you'll have clinically sophisticated conversations with specialists and multidisciplinary teams while taking ownership of key hospital and private accounts across VIC North West and Tasmania.
The Role
Manage a targeted portfolio of hospital and specialist accounts across VIC North West and Tasmania
Develop and execute strategic account plans across priority accounts
Build strong relationships with specialists, KOLs and multidisciplinary teams
Navigate complex hospital environments and influence key stakeholders and decision makers
Deliver high-quality clinical and scientific discussions within a complex rare disease area
Drive territory performance and take ownership of sales results
Prepare key customers and accounts for an important new product launch
Work closely with Medical, Market Access, Marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders
About You




Experienced pharmaceutical Key Account Manager
Strong track record of sales success, with demonstrated achievements
Experience managing complex hospital accounts and specialist customers
Strategic approach to account planning and territory management
Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify account opportunities and barriers
Confident engaging and influencing specialists and multidisciplinary stakeholders
Ability and genuine interest in learning complex clinical, product and disease-state information
Collaborative, accountable and motivated by both individual and team success
Tertiary qualifications
Respiratory, rare disease or other complex specialty experience highly regarded
