Principal Project Manager (Fixed Term - 12 months)
The Role
The Principal Project Manager will lead enterprise-wide asset management and transformation initiatives, including the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) Program and Whole of Life Asset Replacement Strategy. The role provides strategic advice to the Chief Financial Officer and senior leaders on asset management, investment planning and organisational transformation, while leading multidisciplinary teams, consultants and stakeholders through influence and governance to deliver business-critical outcomes across FRV.
Functional Accountabilities:
Lead and deliver multiple concurrent priority and business-critical projects, including the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) implementation and whole-of-life asset replacement strategy development
Manage end-to-end project delivery to ensure outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and organisational priorities while balancing competing demands across multiple project stream
Develop and implement robust project management, governance, risk, change management and stakeholder engagement plans to support successful business transformation and asset management maturity
Provide expert strategic advice to the Chief Financial Officer, executive leaders and senior stakeholders on asset management strategy, asset investment planning, asset lifecycle optimisation, organisational transformation, project delivery and business improvement initiatives.
The Team
The Corporate Services Directorate provides advice, planning and support in the areas of Finance, Information Technology, Fleet, Property and Records Management. In addition, the directorate also provides oversight of the FRV commercial arm, Fire and Equipment Services (FES). The directorate is a key enabler for the operational and corporate units of the business to deliver on organisational objectives.

What you will need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification in asset management, information technology, engineering or a relevant discipline is desirable
Extensive experience of leading complex asset management, business improvement and transformation initiatives in large and complex organisations
Demonstrated experience of delivering enterprise-wide transformation programs and major technology implementations, including Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS) or equivalent platforms
Substantial knowledge of and experience in asset investment modelling
High-level stakeholder engagement and communication skills that are clear and appropriate with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.

We respond to fires, complex rescues and emergency situations.
