We're partnering with a well-established customer-focused business to recruit a Store Manager for a Chatswood location.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident retail leader who enjoys building genuine customer relationships, working in a fast-paced multicultural environment and taking ownership of a smaller-format store.
Chatswood is a highly diverse retail and residential community, with a particularly strong Chinese-speaking customer base. If you enjoy connecting with customers from different backgrounds and can build trust quickly, this environment offers an opportunity to make a real impact.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Store Manager, you'll be the face of the business in Chatswood, responsible for creating a professional, welcoming and trusted experience for every customer.
You'll take ownership of:
Leading and coaching a small, customer-focused team
Building strong relationships with a diverse customer base
Driving sales, KPIs, conversion and customer engagement
Confidently explaining products and services to customers
Managing cash handling, reconciliation and day‐to‐day financial processes
Maintaining high standards of accuracy, security and compliance
Managing opening and closing procedures and daily store operations
Supporting rostering, training and performance management
Identifying opportunities to grow sales and improve the customer experience
WHAT'S ON OFFER?
Base salary around
$75,000 + Super
Monthly performance-based
bonus scheme
with potential to earn up to approximately $40,000 additional
Five‐day working week
Choose your roster!
Choice of roster: Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday

WHO WE'R LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a commercially minded retail leader who is confident, personable and comfortable taking ownership.
You may come from:
Store Management or Assistant Store Management
Banking or financial services
Foreign exchange or travel money
Jewellery, watches or luxury retail
Telecommunications or electronics
Travel or hospitality
Specialty retail or other high‐value customer environments
You'll ideally bring:
Previous Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Branch Manager, Supervisor or Senior Sales experience
Strong sales and KPI performance
Excellent attention to detail and confidence handling transactions
A genuine customer‐first approach
Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
The ability to work autonomously in a smaller team
Confidence coaching and developing team members
A high level of integrity and professionalism
Experience in foreign exchange, banking, financial services or another high-value transaction environment will be highly regarded — but it's not essential.
Mandarin or Cantonese language skills will be highly advantageous for this Chatswood-based opportunity, particularly when building rapport and providing an exceptional experience for the local customer community.
However, language skills are not essential. We're equally interested in candidates who demonstrate strong communication, cultural awareness and the ability to build trust with a diverse customer base.
