About the role
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals on their rehabilitation journey? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Physiotherapist
to join our dynamic Community Rehabilitation Service (CRS).
CRS provides rehabilitation and therapy services to clients in their own home environment within the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), to community clients at the NSLHD residential TACP program at Belrose. The successful applicant will work within a multi-disciplinary team with a client-focused and goal-centred framework.



Working primarily with adult clients with neurological and orthopedic conditions in our Home-Based Rehab, Transitional Aged Care (TACP) therapy program.
Key responsibilities include
Provision of high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions based on sound clinical reasoning following comprehensive assessment.
Provision of clinical supervision for assistants.
Supervision of physiotherapy students.
To contribute to the clinical education of self and others including students.
To maintain and encourage an evidence-based approach to practice.
About you
We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:
Current full registration with AHPRA.
Recent clinical experience in providing physiotherapy to clients in the community, disability and/or rehabilitation settings.
Experience and clinical skills in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Demonstrated competence in high level interpersonal communication, negotiation and conflict resolution.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Sound time management and organisation skills.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth and development.
Computer literacy including demonstrated competence using Microsoft Word and email.
Current C unrestricted driver's licence, good driving record and own car. Staff may be required to travel to visits in their own vehicle. Mileage/ petrol costs can be claimed.
Experience with student and Allied Health Assistant supervision.
Understanding and familiarity with health-related community services.
