are excited to be partnering with a well-established and vibrant pub in South Yarra, known for its busy atmosphere, functions, events, live entertainment and late-night trade.
We're looking for an experienced Duty / Shift Manager to join the team full-time and take charge of the shift.
Leading a team of *****, you'll keep service moving, oversee functions and make sure the venue is running at its best through to close.

What's in it for you?
$75,000 – $80,000 + super
Full-time role with a consistent 5-day week
Sunday/Monday or Monday/Tuesday off

Varied role across functions, events and general venue operations

What do you do?
Take ownership of the day-to-day running of your shift and ensure the venue operates smoothly
Lead, support and manage a team of ***** staff across busy service periods
Oversee food and beverage service, functions and events across the venue
Coordinate staff and ensure the team is set up for successful service




Handle customer issues and maintain high standards of service and presentation
Complete late-night closes and ensure the venue is properly shut down
Work closely with senior management to maintain strong operational standards
What do you need?
Previous Duty Manager, Shift Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or similar hospitality experience
Strong background in pubs, bars, hotels or high-volume hospitality, with restaurant experience
Previous functions and events experience is highly desirable
Proven ability to lead and manage a team of ***** staff
Confident working busy services, handling issues and making decisions under pressure
Comfortable with late-night trade and 3am closes
Current RSA and full-time availability
