Your new role
The Family Services Program supports families who are experiencing high levels of stress and difficulties that impact on parenting, family life and children's wellbeing. Responding to referrals from The Orange Door, the program provides assertive outreach and home based supports.
As Team Leader, you will provide leadership, supervision and support to a team of Family Services Practitioners. The role work closely with the Children, Youth and Families Manager to lead the delivery and ongoing development of high quality, consumer-centric family services.

Your skills and experience
You are keen to progress your career into leadership and seek an organisation that will provide you the support and opportunity. You enjoy imparting your knowledge and experience to newer practitioners through mentoring activities.
You Will Bring
Bachelor level degree in social work, psychology, social science, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated ability and experience in the child, youth and family welfare field
Demonstrated experience in supervision and mentoring of staff, and proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams performing a range of functions across many locations
A sound understanding of family and parenting issues, especially in the context of protective concerns
