Tryout: March
First Practice: August - December
Fall - Junior High Football
Winter - Junior High Basketball
Qualifications
Knowledge of cheerleading skills and the ability to coach those skills
Ability to make decisions under pressure
Ability to develop winning strategies
Ability to motivate players
Exceptional leadership skills
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have the ability to organize and supervise the program
Be seen in the community as a strong leader/role model to our student athletes
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age
Have at least a high school diploma or GED
Must be trained to drive Activity Bus
Must complete 5 mandatory online NFHS Learn courses prior to the first practice
Complete and pass an Expanded Criminal Background and CPS Check
Compensation
Competitive pay based upon experience
Reports to: Athletic Director and Varsity Cheerleading Coach
