Brand current opportunity has been created to lead our Workshop over two sites located at Truganina and Albion.
With outstanding leadership skills and technical knowledge, some of the key outcomes for this
position include:
Ensure an effective change management process, including the planning and execution of any
physical move of depot locations, efficient staff management and the establishment of recent
systems of work to ensure the strategic delivery of safe, reliable and roadworthy vehicles in line
with Bus Safety standards.
Foster a positive, safety-conscious, and customer-centric culture within the workshop / paintshop.
Inspire and manage your team, driving a culture that prioritises safety, productivity and
collaboration.
Manage the overall operations of the service workshop / paintshop including workflow,
resource allocation, quality standards, effective turnaround times of all vehicle maintenance
tasks.
Management of financial budgets and assets to ensure controlled expenditure and best value
for money and quality.
Ensure compliance and leadership with health and safety regulations and established policies
and procedures.
To be successful in this role you must have:
Hold a heavy vehicle trade certificate with valid MR/HR licence.
Strong technical knowledge and the ability to provide hands‐on guidance to the workshop /
paintshop team.
Demonstrated experience diagnosing and rectifying complex issues across all bus systems.
Excellent problem‐solving, decision‐making, and time management skills.
Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
across departments.
