The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. About the role
Join VACCA and play a key role in strengthening Aboriginal children, families and communities. As Program Manager, you will lead a diverse range of Family Services, Disability and Mental Health programs, ensuring our community receives culturally safe, responsive and high quality support. Working alongside dedicated teams, you will help create positive outcomes for families, build solid community connections, and ensure services continue to grow and meet the needs of our people.
About You
You are an experienced service delivery leader who is passionate about achieving strong outcomes for Aboriginal children, families and communities. You have a proven ability to lead and support teams, deliver culturally safe and responsive services, and ensure programs operate effectively to meet community needs. You are skilled in managing performance, reporting, compliance, budgets and quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement, accountability and client outcomes. Your leadership helps create services that are accessible, effective and centred on the strengths of Aboriginal families and communities.
Desirable:
Tertiary qualifications in the field of social work, psychology or community services and extensive relevant experience,



or a combination of experience, expertise and competence sufficient to perform the duties described.
Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership and management.
Requirements:
Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and aVictorian Driver Licence.Current COVID-19 vaccination(Strongly Recommended)
