South Coast Radiology (SCR) is the longest standing radiology provider to Southeast Queensland and part of the Australia-wide Integral Diagnostics (IDX) radiology group network.

About the Role
n
We currently have an opportunity for a Part Time Registered Nurse (12 Month Maternity Leave contract till ****) to join our team based at Pindara Hospital on the Gold Coast.
n
Reporting to the Nurse in Charge, you will provide the highest standard of service to our patients and Radiologists, supporting diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures.
n
Key Duties
n
n
Provide a high standard of care to patients, technical staff, and Radiologists
n
Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are always observed
n
Admission, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing interventional procedures such as biopsies, vascular access devices, pain management,



stents, and drainages
n
PICC line insertion (training provided)
n
Apply sound knowledge for post-procedure care, recovery, and discharge
n
Participate in an on-call roster
n
n
About You
n
n
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
n
IV Cannulation experience preferred
n
Advanced Life Support (preferred but not essential)
n
Able to respond effectively in emergencies
n
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
n
Team player with ability to work independently
n
Excellent personal presentation
n
Previous surgical or radiology experience (beneficial)
n
