We are seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance and Grounds Person to join our Property Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities and grounds and enjoys working within a supportive school community.
n
Reporting to the Property Services Manager, the successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring that College buildings, grounds, equipment and reticulation systems are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Management and maintenance of the College reticulation system
n
General maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment
n
Responding to maintenance requests and prioritising tasks
n
Assisting with the upkeep of lawns, ovals and landscaped areas
n
Maintaining maintenance records and ordering required supplies
n




Supporting College events through equipment set-up and transport
n
Upholding Work Health and Safety standards across all duties
n
n
Essential Criteria
n
n
Experience in the maintenance and repair of reticulation systems
n
Experience in building, grounds and general maintenance
n
Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
n
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
n
Sound computer skills
n
Current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience operating and maintaining grounds and gardening equipment
n
Trade qualifications in groundskeeping, landscaping, turf management, reticulation or a related field
n
Current Western Australian MR Driver's Licence
n
n
Applicants Must

Support the Catholic ethos of Bunbury Catholic College
n
Hold, or be willing to obtain, Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School
n
Hold, or be willing to obtain, a current Working with Children Check
n
Hold a current WA Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or be eligible to obtain one)
n
Successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and baseline hearing check
n
