Job Description
Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking experienced Welders for the upcoming mid-year FCCU shutdown. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing at the beginning of June for approximately 8 weeks.

This short-term role offers strong EBA perks and rates, all while allowing you to remain based at home. Penalty rates apply.

As this is a Brisbane-based role, locally based applicants are preferred at this time, however, consideration will be given to those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skillset and experience.

Welding tickets 4, 5 and 7 (desirable)
n
Pipe welding - Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Chromoly, MMAW, GTAW, FCAW experience required
n
You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
n
Previous Shutdown/T&I; experience is a definite advantage
n
Trade qualified and working within a heavy industry environment for at least 5 years
n
You must have in-date current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets to work on the Shutdown – validity 3 years from date of issue, not expiring before mid-August ****
n
Must be available to pass a Wood medical,after providing the required certificates, safety tickets and driver's licence to MyPass.
