About The Role
NCN Health is seeking a Clinical Support Nurse to join our Clinical Education team.
The Clinical Support Nurse will provide support, education and mentoring to graduates, newly appointed and less experienced employees, helping them build confidence, capability and the skills required to deliver high-quality care. The role may provide support across multiple departments and campuses.
The Clinical Support Nurse will identify and respond to the individual learning and development needs of staff, students and graduates, providing guidance, practical support and constructive feedback to promote safe and effective practice and ongoing professional development. Working closely with Nurse Unit Managers, staff, preceptors and mentors, the role will contribute to a supportive learning environment and assist with monitoring progress, evaluations and development.
The role will also work collaboratively with Allied Health Educators, the Learning and Development Coordinator and other members of the Education Group to foster a positive culture of learning, professional development and continuous improvement across NCN Health.
About You
Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Demonstrable recent relevant clinical experience at a senior level
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Well-developed interpersonal and communication (listening, written and verbal) skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of people;
Ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team;
Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritise demanding and changing workloads;
Possess strong professional ethics, including the ability to exercise sound judgment and confidentiality in relation to sensitive matters.
