About the opportunity/n

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys staying close to their team, customers and the day-to-day rhythm of a busy dealership.

/n

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Branch Manager to lead our Newcastle dealership. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the overall performance of the branch, including Service, Parts, customer experience and safety, while overseeing a close-knit team of approximately 25 to 30 employees.

/n

We're looking for a leader who puts people first, leads by example and creates an environment where employees feel supported, valued and accountable. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening capability across the branch while ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused operations.

As the leader of the Newcastle site, you will work closely with employees, customers and stakeholders to drive sustainable growth, improve operational performance and foster a positive workplace culture in one of NSW's most liveable regional centres.

What you'll be doing/n

- Lead day-to-day branch operations across Service, Parts and customer-facing functions.

- Build a people-first culture that promotes engagement, accountability and development.

- Champion a proactive approach to safety and wellbeing across the branch.

/n

- Coach and support frontline leaders to strengthen capability and performance.

/n

- Deliver financial, operational and customer performance targets.

/n

- Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

/n

- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

/n

- Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and OEM standards.

/n

- Foster collaboration and accountability across the branch.

What we're looking for/n

/n

- Proven leadership experience within automotive, heavy vehicle, transport, industrial or service-related operations.

/n

- A genuine people-first leadership style with a track record of coaching leaders, developing capability and building engaged teams.

/n

- Solid commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

/n

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and deliver sustainable business outcomes.

/n

- Experience managing operational performance, budgets and commercial outcomes.

/n

- Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.

/n

- Commercial acumen and the ability to make sound business decisions using operational data.

/n

- Heavy vehicle or commercial vehicle industry experience will be highly regarded.
