The Opportunity

/n At Shine Lawyers, we're proud to work tirelessly in pursuit of justice for people within our community. As a full-time, permanent Solicitor or Associatein our Geelong-based Personal Injury team,you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference for those who have been wronged.

/n While experience in personal injury law across any jurisdiction is preferred, it's not essential. We're open to mentoring an enthusiastic and capable solicitor who has a solid understanding of the rules of evidence, demonstrates empathy and professionalism, and is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals achieve justice.

- Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients seeking compensation.

/n

- Manage a variety of personal injury matters with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

/n

- Deliver clear, tailored legal advice that aligns with each client's level of understanding.

/n

- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular, transparent communication and effective expectation management.

/n

- Prepare and review legal documentation with precision and attention to detail.

/n

- Manage your own file load efficiently, demonstrating solid organisational and commercial awareness.

/n

- Contribute positively to the team environment and provide support to junior colleagues where appropriate.

/n

What you’ll bring/n

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

/n

/n

- A Bachelor of Laws, and a current practising certificate.

/n





- Post-admission experience in Personal Injury is preferred but not essential for success!

/n

- A strong understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.

/n

- Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters

/n

- Maturity and confidence to deal with clients in a trauma informed way.

/n

- A desire to be part of a strong, cohesive team that works together to get great results

/n

- An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.

/n

- A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

/n
