Description

This role is primarily flat top work. Applicants must have proven experience securing loads using chains, dogs and straps. Occasional tautliner work may also be required. WORKING HOURS Approximately 6:00 am start Typical finish between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm Hours may vary depending on the daily workload Applicants must have HC driving experience in Australia Flat top trailer experience Strong practical load restraint skills Confidence securing different loads with chains, dogs and straps Sound knowledge of Australian heavy vehicle, load restraint and fatigue, management requirements Transparent spoken and written English for safety instructions, paperwork and customer communication A safe driving record and suitable Australian work rights The ability to work safely and independently without constant supervision This is not an entry level or training position. We require a driver who can correctly assess, restrain and transport loads without assistance. Immediate start available for the right applicant.
