China Food Corporation Pty Ltd is an established importer and wholesale distributor of Asian food and beverages, supplying supermarkets, restaurants and hospitality businesses throughout Queensland.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team and support the continued development and promotion of our product portfolio and wholesale business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's Asian food and beverage products across retail and foodservice markets.
• Research market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities and emerging opportunities within the Asian food and beverage sector.
• Analyse customer and market data to identify target markets and support product positioning and business growth strategies.
• Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns across digital, social media, website and other promotional channels.
• Develop marketing content and promotional materials for products, brands and wholesale customers.
• Support new product launches and develop appropriate market-entry and promotional strategies.
• Liaise with management, sales staff, suppliers and other stakeholders to coordinate marketing activities.




• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct research into potential retail, supermarket, restaurant and foodservice markets and identify opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
• Assist in developing brand positioning and promotional strategies appropriate to Australia's multicultural and Asian food markets.
• Coordinate promotional activities, trade events, product presentations and other business marketing initiatives.
• Prepare marketing reports, budgets, forecasts and recommendations for management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in marketing or a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy, market research, digital marketing and campaign management.
• Robust analytical, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in FMCG, food and beverage, wholesale distribution, retail or hospitality markets will be highly regarded.
• Understanding of multicultural consumer markets and Asian food products will be advantageous.

Employment

Full-time, ongoing position
38 hours per week
