Long Glass Australia is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The role primarily involves delivering glass products to customers and construction sites throughout Canberra and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver glass products safely and on time
- Secure glass and other materials correctly before transportation
- Assist with the protected loading and unloading of glass
- Complete daily vehicle pre-start inspections
- Maintain delivery records and relevant paperwork
- Communicate with factory staff, customers and site supervisors
- Follow all road, site and workplace safety requirements
- Keep the truck clean and report any damage or maintenance issues

Requirements





- Current and valid MR/HR truck licence
- Relevant truck-driving experience
- Good driving record
- Experience transporting glass or construction materials is preferred
- Knowledge of safe load-restraint procedures
- Physically fit and willing to assist with loading and unloading
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
- Good communication skills
- Construction White Card preferred
- Forklift licence and dogging ticket would be an advantage
