CONTROLLERS & ROVERS WANTED

Fortitude Protective Services is currently looking for professional, reliable and well-presented Security Officers to join our growing corporate security team across Sydney.

We have opportunities for experienced:

- Control Room / Controller Officers
- Rover / Patrol Officers

These are FULL-TIME positions with ongoing work available for the right candidates.

ROSTER – IMPORTANT

The positions operate on a rotating roster:

2 WEEKS DAYS / 2 WEEKS NIGHTS

Applicants must be available and able to commit to the full rotating roster.

The roster may include:

- Day shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekends
- Public holidays

Please only apply if you are looking for full-time work and can commit to rotating day and night shifts.

Casual, part-time or limited availability applicants will not be suitable for these positions.

ABOUT THE WORK

Our officers work across professional corporate environments and are responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for employees, clients, contractors and visitors.

CONTROLLER DUTIES

- CCTV monitoring
- Access control
- Alarm monitoring
- Control room operations
- Incident management




- Emergency response coordination
- Maintaining control room logs and reports
- Liaising with building management and emergency services

Previous control room experience is highly regarded.

ROVER DUTIES

- Internal and external patrols
- Monitoring the site for security risks
- Identifying hazards and suspicious activity
- Responding to incidents
- Assisting staff, visitors and contractors
- Access control and security checks
- Emergency response
- Completing patrol and incident reports

REQUIREMENTS

MANDATORY:

- Current NSW Security Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Full-Time Availability
- Ability to commit to the 2 Weeks Days / 2 Weeks Nights rotating roster
- Reliable and punctual
- Skilled presentation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

For Controller positions, experience with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring and control room operations is highly regarded.
