The Role

We are seeking a reliable Manufacturing Plant Operator to support the efficient and secure operation of a fertiliser manufacturing facility in Dalby, Queensland. Working within the agricultural manufacturing industry, you will operate processing and packaging equipment to help produce high-quality fertiliser products accurately and consistently. This is a hands-on role in a busy, hot and dusty plant environment where safety, teamwork, attention to detail and flexibility are essential.

Key Responsibilities

You will help keep the manufacturing plant operating safely and efficiently while ensuring production, quality and batching requirements are consistently met.

- Operate fertiliser processing and packaging facilities to meet production requirements
- Support the day-to-day operation of granulation and manufacturing processes
- Maintain accurate feed rates, batching and product consistency
- Operate and monitor plant and equipment in line with procedures and safety requirements
- Identify, report and respond to safety hazards, quality issues and operational variances
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow established quality assurance processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist across other manufacturing activities and tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous manufacturing plant experience
- Experience operating plant, processing or production equipment
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a hot and dusty setting
- Flexibility and willingness to move between different tasks as required
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow operating procedures and safety requirements
- A reliable and proactive approach to work
- Commitment to quality, safety and consistent production standards
