Location: Sushi World, Macquarie Shopping Centre, North Ryde NSW Hours: 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm, 7 days a week (2 hours per night, 14 hours per week) Pay: Hourly rate, paid at award rates Start: Immediate
Sushi World is a family-owned Sydney sushi business that has been serving fresh, handmade sushi since 1996. We're looking for a reliable evening cleaner to keep our Macquarie Centre shop spotless after close.
What you'll do
- Clean the interior of the shop each night – floors, benches, display cabinets, sinks, back-of-house and kitchen surfaces
- Clean the exterior and shopfront – counters, glass, signage and the area in front of the shop
- Empty bins and take out rubbish and recycling
- Restock cleaning supplies and let the manager know when stock is low
- Follow our food safety and hygiene procedures
Who we're looking for
- Reliable and punctual – the shop needs to be clean and ready for the next morning, every night
- Available 7 days a week, 8 pm to 10 pm (we're open to splitting the roster between two people if you can only do some nights – tell us your availability)
- Previous cleaning experience in a food or retail setting is a plus, but not essential – we'll train you
- Able to work independently and take pride in a job done properly
- Must have the right to work in Australia
