NQ Exhibitions & Clique Events is looking for a practical, energetic and reliable Exhibition Furniture & Event Setup Laborer to join our team.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. You’ll be working with furniture, equipment, exhibition stands, signage and event gear, making sure everything is prepared, delivered, set up, packed down, maintained and ready for the next job.

About the role

The Exhibition Furniture & Event Setup Labourer is responsible for looking after our furniture and event equipment from start to finish.

You will help prepare equipment before events, coordinate loading and delivery, oversee setup onsite, assist with pack-down, and make sure everything is cleaned, maintained, stored safely and ready for the next event.

This role suits someone who is physically fit, switched on, organised and willing to take ownership of the gear, the job and the outcome.

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for:

- Preparing furniture, signage, AV equipment and event items before each job.




- Checking, cleaning, maintaining and repairing furniture and equipment.
- Loading and unloading equipment for events and exhibitions.
- Delivering, setting up and dismantling furniture, displays, stands and event equipment.
- Making sure all furniture and fixtures are placed according to exhibitor or client requirements.
- Supervising general hands and helping coordinate the team onsite.
- Assisting with exhibition stand construction, signage, graphics, lighting and AV setup.
- Ensuring equipment is packed down, returned, stored and recorded correctly after each event.
- Keeping the warehouse, storage areas and event spaces clean, safe and organised.
- Reporting any damage, missing equipment or maintenance issues.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Representing NQ Exhibitions & Clique Events professionally with clients, venues and exhibitors.

About you

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

- Comfortable working in warehouses, venues and event spaces.
- A good communicator with a qualified attitude.
- Safety-focused and aware of your surroundings.
- Someone who takes pride in doing the job properly.

Experience in events, exhibitions, furniture delivery, warehousing, removals, construction, staging, labouring, AV, signage or logistics would be highly regarded.

A current driver’s license would also be highly regarded.
