Timber Production Worker

Holzbau Industries is a manufacturer and supplier to plank flooring and building industries, specialising in the conversion of plank flooring into stair nosings, Currently we are seeking a conscientious and detail-oriented Timber Production Worker to join our Nerang based manufacturing team.

About the role:

This role involves working with plank flooring products and using Holzbau’s proprietary machinery and processes to manufacture stair nosings. Duties and responsibilities include the following:

- Cutting, profiling, glueing and assembling stair nosings to quality standards
- Detailing and packing completed orders
- Operation of tools, workshop machinery and equipment
- Assemble stair noses to quality standards
- Cleaning and maintenance of plant and equipment
- Cleaning and maintenance of factory floor and amenities
- Loading unloading stock for delivery and dispatch
- Working practically and efficiently to achieve scheduled requirements
- Follow safety protocols and procedures




- Collaborate with team members to meet production requirements

About you:

· Experience in woodworking, flooring or similar industries would be highly regarded

· Mechanical aptitude is beneficial

· Excellent attention to detail is an absolute must

· Ability to manage time and work strategically within process guidelines

· Willingness to follow company policies and procedures and work to OHS standards

· Team player mentality

· Physically able to safely manage and carry packs of flooring product and packed orders

· Current forklift licence beneficial but not required

· Own reliable transport

Summary:

This role involves working in a small team manufacturing workplace. We are seeking applicants who would be eager to contribute to the continued improvement and growth of our organisation. We are offering above award casual rates after an initial trial phase.

Our factory operating hours are from Monday to Thursday 6am to 3pm and Friday 6am to 1pm.
