KERA Hospitality is seeking a skilled, reliable and passionate Chef to join our growing team. We are a modern Kerala and South Indian restaurant focused on authentic flavours, quality ingredients, creative presentation and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist with menu preparation, daily specials and current dish development
- Maintain consistent taste, presentation and portion control
- Organise and manage food preparation during busy service periods
- Monitor food quality, freshness and stock levels
- Follow food-safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen
- Receive, check and correctly store food deliveries
- Minimise food waste and assist with food-cost control
- Work closely with the Head Chef, kitchen team and front-of-house staff
- Assist with training junior cooks and kitchen hands when required

Skills and experience





- Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook in a busy restaurant
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery is preferred
- Knowledge of Kerala, South Indian or Indian cuisine is highly regarded
- Strong knife skills and food-preparation knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of food safety and workplace hygiene
- Reliable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
