Workshop Supervisor – South of the River, WA
Nixor Workforce is looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join a busy engineering workshop, South of the river in Perth
We are seeking a hands-on Supervisor with strong leadership skills and experience managing tradespeople in a workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day workshop operations, coordinating trades and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

- Location: Henderson, WA
- Hours: Full-time
- Roster: Monday to Friday
- Start: Immediate
- Duration: Ongoing opportunity
- Pay: $75-80PH
Duties:
As a Workshop Supervisor, your responsibilities may include:
- Supervising and coordinating tradespeople and workshop personnel
- Managing day-to-day workshop operations and workflow
- Allocating tasks and ensuring jobs are completed on schedule
- Monitoring productivity, quality and workmanship
- Coordinating materials, equipment and resources required for workshop activities
- Ensuring workshop activities are completed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards
- Providing support and guidance to tradespeople and workshop staff
- Liaising with management, clients and other teams as required
- Monitoring job progress and addressing any issues or delays
- Maintaining a safe,
clean and organised workshop setting
- Assisting with planning, scheduling and prioritising workshop jobs
- Conducting toolbox meetings and supporting site safety initiatives
- General workshop supervision and duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar role
- Strong experience managing and coordinating tradespeople
- Previous experience within an engineering, fabrication, mechanical or industrial workshop environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities
- Strong understanding of workshop safety procedures
- Ability to read and understand job requirements and drawings
- Current White Card
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Australian working rights
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
Desirable:
- Trade qualification
- Previous experience supervising fabrication or engineering trades
- Relevant supervisory or leadership qualifications
- Forklift or High Risk Work Licence
