We're hiring a Project Coordinator as a development role, so you'll be taught the commercial side by people who have run hundreds of fit-outs, given real ownership early, and shown a clear path through to Project Manager. Concept is a design and build company with forty-nine years and over 2,000 projects behind it, and Melbourne is our hub, around forty people, which means the senior PMs, design and estimating you'll learn from all sit in the same room as you.

Overview of the position:





This role is perfect for someone who loves the entire lifecycle of commercial delivery, from initial estimate through to project close-out. You'll work with the Project teams to price, procure and protect project outcomes through quality documentation, cost & contract control, and smart stakeholder communication. This position is the trajectory towards the project management role you can't stop thinking about.

Our expectations of you:

- Experience as a Project Coordinator, Contract Administrator, cadet or site-based support in construction, fit-out or commercial interiors, or a construction management qualification and the appetite to learn the rest

- The kind of person who sees a drawing and immediately starts mentally breaking down the scope

- Meticulous planning and organisation, and composure when things go sideways, so issues get resolved thoroughly and methodically

- Analytical and numerical, comfortable holding competing priorities

- Confident communicating with subcontractors, consultants and clients, and comfortable chasing an answer until you have it
