We are seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Machine Operator to join our EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) manufacturing team in Brisbane.

This is a hands-on role operating batch pre-expanders, moulding machines and re-grind equipment, with responsibility for maintaining product quality, managing scrap levels, and supporting protected and efficient factory operations.

This is a technical operator position suited to someone who takes ownership of their machines and work standards.

Key Duties

- Operate batch pre-expander to achieve consistent density on every batch

- Operate moulding machines to meet daily production targets

- Perform density checks and finished product load testing

- Operate re-grind equipment to maintain acceptable scrap levels

- Assist with cutting EPS pods to required sizes

- Monitor steam systems supporting production

- Ability to assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues

- Conduct regular machine maintenance and cleaning

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Complete accurate production and quality records

About You

- 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

- Experience operating industrial machinery (EPS experience advantageous)





- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

- Understanding of quality checks and process consistency

- Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented

- Physically capable of working in a fast-paced factory environment

Experience with steam systems or boilers is advantageous but not essential.
