Tommy’s Transport is seeking a hard-working, reliable, and physically fit MR or HR Truck Driver to join our growing transport and logistics team. In this role, you will be handling local residential and commercial removals as well as furniture deliverys across metropolitan and surrounding areas. We operate Monday through Saturday, offering consistent steady work and outstanding earning potential.
Key responsibilities
- Complete local removals and deliveries
- Load and unload furniture, boxes and other goods to homes, business & other locations
- Pack and protect furniture where required & secure goods safely inside the truck
- Provide professional customer service
- Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Follow company safety procedures
About you
- A current MR or HR driver's license
- At least 2 years minimum experience completing removals or deliveries preferred
- Experience driving trucks safely and responsibly
- Good physical strength & fitness
- Ability to lift & carry furniture and other heavy items
- A positive and hardworking attitude & ability to work well as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full working rights in Australia
