Join ANZ as a First Nations Customer Service Trainee working in the heart of Melbourne CBD!

MEGT is partnering with ANZ to offer an exciting First Nations Customer Service Traineeship within a call centre setting while completing a Certificate III in Business.

This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified role. This program aims to improve the under-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in this industry and is an equal opportunity measure under section 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Trainee, you'll join ANZ's call centre team, assisting customers over the phone with a range of banking and service enquiries.

You'll have the opportunity to:

- Speak with customers over the phone and provide helpful service
- Develop your knowledge of banking products and services
- Learn how to navigate banking systems and technology
- Resolve customer enquiries and use problem-solving skills
- Develop strong communication and customer service skills
- Learn how to confidently handle a range of customer situations
- Support First Nations customers as you build your experience
- Work towards meeting customer service and performance targets
- Build valuable skills for a long-term career in banking

The successful candidate will receive 10 weeks of structured training, including classroom learning, phone-based training and ongoing coaching and support. This will gradually build your knowledge of ANZ products, systems and customer service before joining the team.

What We're Looking For

No previous call centre or banking experience

We're looking for someone who can:

- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Feel confident speaking with customers over the phone
- Follow procedures and work well in a structured environment




- Be interested in building a career in banking and customer service

Experience working with First Nations communities or customers would be highly regarded, but motivation and the willingness to learn are key.
