About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team at Ability to Achieve in Revesby, NSW. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our diverse client base around Sydney, helping them to improve their communication abilities and enhance their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans

- Delivering individual and group speech therapy sessions to address a range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice

- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physiotherapists, to provide holistic client-centred care

- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with professional and organisational standards

- Participating in team meetings to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our speech therapy services

- Diverse service delivery including client homes, school's, community centres and community work.

- Providing education and support to clients, families, and caregivers to empower them in the therapy process

What we're looking for

- Degree in Speech Pathology or Speech Therapy, with current registration as a Speech Therapist in Australia

- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Speech Therapist, preferably in a community or private practice setting

- Strong clinical skills in the assessment, diagnosis,



and treatment of a wide range of communication disorders

- Solid interpersonal skills and industry (NDIS) experience.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

- Proficient in maintaining accurate client records and adhering to professional and organisational standards

- Adaptable and flexible, with a commitment to providing client-centred care
