Sports Turf Professional / Golf Course Groundskeeper - Melbourne VIC

We are currently seeking a dedicated Sports Turf Professional / Golf Course Groundskeeper to join the grounds maintenance team at a prestige Golf & Country Club in Melbourne VIC.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced turf skilled or groundskeeper who is passionate about maintaining premium sporting and recreational golf facilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the golf course and surrounding landscapes are presented to the highest standard year-round.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain golf course turf, greens, tees, fairways, and surrounding grounds.
- Perform mowing, irrigation, fertilisation, and aeration programs.
- Monitor turf health and implement pest, weed, and disease control measures.
- Operate and maintain turf management equipment and machinery.
- Assist with course set-up for tournaments and special events.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Support environmental sustainability initiatives and water management programs.

About You

- Previous experience in sports turf management,



golf course maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping.
- Certificate III or IV in Sports Turf Management (preferred).
- Sound knowledge of turf care practices, irrigation systems, and machinery operation.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
