Known for its scale, complexity and strong governance culture, the business partners with international stakeholders and maintains a well-established Group Finance function that supports consolidated reporting across a diverse portfolio of operating entities.
About the Role:
Reporting into the Senior Group Finance Manager, the key responsibilities include:
- Prepare month-end and quarter-end consolidation, including cash flow preparation, financial analysis and commentary
- Review month-end deliverables from operating businesses to understand key result drivers and ensure appropriate accounting treatment
- Prepare periodic reporting deliverables to the parent entity
- Contribute to quarterly performance materials for senior management, Board reporting and Group stakeholders
- Support preparation of semi-annual IFRS financial statements
- Support semi-annual external audit processes, including preparation of accounting papers and audit support
- Support system-enabled reporting improvements, including automation and data quality enhancements
- Build and maintain effective relationships with operating company finance teams
- Partner with Group finance functions (Treasury and Tax) to support integrated reporting and analysis
- Assist with sustainability and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable
- Maintain strong documentation, controls and audit trails to support assurance requirements
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification (required)
- 4-5 years' experience in financial reporting or Group finance roles, ideally within a large, complex or multi-entity organisation (Big 4 background well regarded)
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
- Proactive, accountable and delivery-focused approach
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach
