Stanthorpe Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its General Ward team on a two-week contract starting 14 September 2026. Based in Stanthorpe, Queensland, this role offers the chance to work in a rural healthcare setting where your clinical skills and experience will make a direct impact. The position runs until 27 September 2026 with hours up to 80 per fortnight, and remuneration ranges from AUD58.95 to AUD76.20 per hour. Accommodation is provided, and travel from Brisbane is capped at AUD200 each way.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification

- Flexibility and adaptability to work within a smaller, multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Recent experience in general ward or acute care nursing
