Job Description
The Facilities Contracts & Compliance Officer coordinates contracted facilities maintenance services across the Shire's buildings and community infrastructure through procurement support, contract administration, contractor coordination and compliance monitoring. The position supports effective maintenance outcomes by ensuring contracted works are appropriately scoped, coordinated, monitored and verified in accordance with approved requirements, organisational standards and established procedures.

- Base annual salary $76,692 per annum dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications
- Annual leave loading of 17.5%

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Behaviour that positively demonstrates the Shire's HEART of: Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork
- Demonstrated experience coordinating contractors, procurement or contract administration within facilities, construction, maintenance or a related operational environment
- Demonstrated ability to prepare routine scopes of work and procurement documentation, coordinate quotations and administer contracted services
- Ability to interpret maintenance scopes, specifications, service standards and established contractor requirements
- Robust organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contractors, work requests and competing priorities
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate contract, procurement, maintenance and compliance records using relevant organisational systems
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Experience working in Local Government (desirable)
- Experience in facilities management, contract administration or building maintenance environments (desirable)
- Certificate IV or other relevant qualification in Procurement and Contracting, Facilities Management, Business Administration or a related discipline (desirable)
