Responsible for delivering and coordinating operational training and competency programs across the mining operation. The role works closely with operational leaders and employees to identify training needs, deliver practical training and assessments, maintain competency and compliance requirements, and support the ongoing development of the workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

Deliver training, assessments and competency programs across site operations.

Conduct competency assessments and provide feedback and coaching to employees.

Support the onboarding and development of current starters, apprentices and trainees.

Maintain training records, competency requirements and compliance documentation.

Develop and update training materials,



learning resources and assessment tools.

Work with supervisors and operational leaders to identify capability gaps.

Promote safe, compliant and productive work practices through effective training.

Contribute to continuous improvement of training systems and processes.

Must have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, relevant Workplace Skills skill sets and solid mining experience. Previous experience delivering operational training, assessments and competency programs in a mining environment would be highly regarded.
