About the role
As the Corporate Performance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting organisational performance, planning and reporting across Council. Working closely with executives, leaders and teams, you will provide strategic and analytical support that enables informed decision making, strengthens accountability and drives continuous improvement. You will collect, analyse and present information through dashboards, reports and visualisations that help track performance, identify trends and inform strategic priorities.
In this business partnering role, you will support business areas to improve planning, reporting and performance management practices, while leading research, benchmarking and performance initiatives that inform organisational improvement and innovation. You will contribute to the development, monitoring and reporting of corporate performance measures and provide evidence-based advice to support strategic and operational decision making.
You will also play a key role in coordinating Council's Annual Report and Local Government Performance Reporting Framework requirements, ensuring data is accurate, reliable and compliant. You will develop and maintain reporting dashboards, maintain data quality and accessibility, and support the corporate reporting platform.
This is a full time permanent band 6 position (38 hours per week) with a salary range between $98,432 and $107,292 per annum, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
· Experience analysing, interpreting and presenting data to support informed decision making.
· Demonstrated experience developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
· Strong data visualisation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and meaningful way.
· Experience collecting, validating and managing data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
· Ability to identify trends, issues and opportunities through research, analysis and performance reporting.
· Experience supporting organisational planning, business planning, corporate reporting or statutory reporting processes.
· Demonstrated ability to provide advice, influence stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve planning reporting and performance management practices.
· Experience developing, monitoring or reporting on organisational performance measures, outcomes or key performance indicators.
· Well-developed communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience.
· Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
· Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.
