About Kairos Speech

We're a clinic in North Ryde that provides speech therapy, occupational therapy and counselling. Our clinic is growing and we are looking for a fun, passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join us. This is a 3 or 4 day part-time position. Our clinic is open from Mondays to Saturdays. We can be flexible for the right person (if you can only work during school hours or need shorter days, (returning from maternity leave etc).

Essential criteria

- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Speech Pathology

- Has a 'can-do' attitude, is wanting to learn, is passionate, flexible, honest and reliable

- Current driver's licence and own car

- Full and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia

- Robust verbal and written communication skills

- Working with Children Check

- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and attention to detail

- Able to work collaboratively and independently

- Able to build strong rapport with clients and their families

The Speech Pathologist role requires you to:

- Provide both in-clinic and mobile services

- Administer assessments and therapy sessions with clients and their families/carers

- Administer group therapy (social skills groups, language groups, School-readiness groups, literacy groups, social pairings)

- Complete all documentation within an appropriate time frame (reports, progress notes, other documentation)

- Liase with other professionals (teachers, educators, doctors, allied health professionals)
