Fleet Maintenance Queensland
Banyo
Fleet Maintenance QLD is looking for a Parts & Service Coordinator to join our team at our Banyo workshop.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are exactly the same. You'll be working closely with our workshop supervisor, office manager, mechanics, customers and suppliers to keep things moving and make sure the right parts are where they need to be when they're needed.
You'll be looking after everything from putting together quotes and ordering parts, through to stock control, customer calls, supplier follow-ups, warranties and returns.
We're looking for someone who's organised, reliable, easy to deal with and happy to get stuck in in a busy workshop environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Putting together and sending quotes to customers in Xero online software.
- Sourcing, pricing and ordering parts
- Checking pricing and availability with suppliers
- Keeping an eye on stock levels and ordering when we're running low
- Receiving and checking incoming parts
- Entering incoming goods and purchase information into our system
- Keeping the parts area organised and tidy
- Following up orders, backorders and deliveries
- Handling parts returns, credits and warranty claims
- Talking with customers about quotes, repairs, parts and job updates
- Making phone calls and keeping customers and suppliers in the loop
- Helping the mechanics with parts and job requirements
- Assisting with workshop scheduling when needed
- Keeping records and paperwork up to date
- Helping with general admin, invoicing and filing
- Chasing up anything that needs following up
- Generally helping keep the workshop running smoothly
What We're Looking For
We're not looking for someone who has to tick every box. If you've got a good attitude, you're reliable and you're willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you.
Ideally, you'll be:
- Organised and positive at keeping on top of things
- Reliable and someone we can count on
- Comfortable talking to customers and suppliers
- Confident on the phone and with emails
- Good with computers and data entry
- Someone who pays attention to the details
- Able to juggle a few things at once
- Comfortable working in a busy workshop
- Happy working on your own but also as part of a team
- Someone who sees what needs doing and gets stuck into it
Experience in automotive, heavy vehicles, parts or fleet maintenance would be ideal. We're happy to consider the right person who has a good attitude and is willing to learn.
About Fleet Maintenance Queensland
We're an old school heavy commercial vehicle workshop. We work hard, get the job done and like to have a bit of banter along the way.
The successful applicant will need to have a good sense of humour, be able to take a bit of crap and give it back. You need to be able to have a laugh, but also know when it's time to get stuck into the job.
We look after a range of commercial vehicles and work with businesses across Brisbane to keep their fleets maintained, repaired and on the road.
We're a hands-on team that takes pride in doing a good job, looking after our customers and looking after each other.
We're a family-owned business and understand that life doesn't always fit neatly around work. We try to be flexible and supportive when it comes to family commitments and obligations.
We're not a big corporate operation. We know our customers, we know our vehicles and we work together to get the job done properly.
Interested?
If you reckon this sounds like the sort of place you'd fit into, and you're reliable, switched on, willing to have a laugh and happy to get stuck in, we'd like to hear from you. Please call Richard on 04•• ••• 338.
