About the Role

AFF is seeking motivated and reliable Almond Orchard Hands to join our team at Kooba, located near Griffith, NSW. This hands-on role supports the day-to-day operations of the almond orchard, contributing to the care and productivity of the trees throughout the season.

You’ll be involved in a wide range of orchard activities such as irrigation, machinery operation, maintenance, pruning, spraying, and harvesting. Working outdoors in a team environment, you’ll help ensure orchard operations run safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

On-site accommodation is available for the successful candidate.



The 2027 almond harvest season is expected to commence around late January, with successful candidates anticipated to start work around this time.

About you

You’re someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in being a dependable team member. You’re willing to learn new skills, follow direction, and contribute to a positive and secure work culture.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

- Clear and confident English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Some previous experience working in farming, horticulture, or another hands-on outdoor role.
- A willingness to learn and contribute across all aspects of orchard operations.
- A commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean work environment.
- A current driver’s licence.
